I grew up surrounded by soldering irons and circuit boards — my grandfather and father were into electronics, and I often watched them repair devices, though I wasn’t drawn to it myself. My own passion since childhood was drawing, which later turned into design and illustration. At the same time, I’ve always been into music — playing, recording, experimenting.
At some point, I discovered the story behind Death By Audio and was inspired by the sound of A Place to Bury Strangers. That’s when I decided to try building my first guitar effect. My father showed me the basics of working with electronics, and in 2012 we assembled a distortion pedal together. That was the beginning. I started making clones of various effects I found online — first for myself, then for friends. These early builds were rough and simple, but they worked. I had no plans to sell them.
By 2025, things had changed. I had gained more experience, improved my soldering skills, started using better components, and finally got to bring my artistic ideas into pedal design. I put a few pedals up for sale on a local marketplace — and people bought them. That’s when I realized I truly enjoy the process: building, learning, exploring new circuits.
