Germanium Fuzz

The Kosko FX Fuzz (Zonk II Clone) is an uncompromising, raw vintage fuzz built around the classic Hornby Skewes Zonk Machine II circuit. At its heart is a set of matched Soviet GT402 germanium transistors, delivering that authentic, textured, and biting grit straight from the late 1960s.
Alongside the traditional controls, it features a Bias knob, allowing you to fine-tune the transistors' voltage for everything from an open, singing sustain to a gated, velcro-like "dying battery" sputter. The pedal is housed in a compact enclosure featuring a dark, custom artwork design inspired by vintage Japanese aesthetics, topped with clear, transparent knobs.
Important Power Note: The pedal runs on a standard 9V DC power supply (center negative). However, due to its vintage germanium PNP architecture (positive ground), it cannot share a daisy-chain power cable with modern negative-ground pedals. It requires an isolated power supply output or a dedicated adapter.
