Purple Phaser is an analog phaser with a hypnotic visual design and unmistakable vintage character.
Inspired by the classic Ross Phaser circuit that shaped many legendary tones of the ’70s and ’80s, this pedal delivers warm, organic modulation with rich movement and expressive depth.
The Rate control adjusts the speed of modulation, from slow, syrupy sweeps to faster, pulsating swirl. The unique Recycle control (feedback) determines how much of the effected signal is fed back into the circuit, adding extra depth, resonance, and intensity. At higher settings, it can even create dynamic, almost filter-like textures with pronounced peaks.
Purple Phaser offers lush, musical modulation with a strong psychedelic vibe — perfect for funk rhythms, psych rock explorations, stoner textures, and atmospheric guitar passages.
