2x2 Fuzz

2x2 FUZZ is a fresh take on the classic One Knob Fuzz circuit, packed into a compact 1590G enclosure.
Featuring a single volume knob and two toggles, it lets you swap core circuit components on the fly. The first toggle switches between MPSA13 transistors for high-gain intensity and 2N3904 transistors for a more classic, moderate overdrive. The second toggle switches clipping diodes between silicon 1N4148 and germanium 1N34A, noticeably shifting the compression and response.
The result is 4 distinct sonic characters and maximum versatility in a micro footprint.
